HomeI have just found this really great on line pilot shop. I usually just stick to the one shop but I was chatting to another pilot today and they were telling me about this shop and how good it was and so I decided to take a look. I like the place I normally go to because they have good offers from time to time and they stock all of the things that I need. Some of the prices were a bit lower in this shop that he recommended than where I normally get my things from which was great and so I decided to take a look at all of things that they stocked. They also seemed to have a bigger range of items, which was also really good.
I like to have lots of things to choose from and I also enjoy browsing through all of the items that they have even if I do not buy. I guess aircraft supplies interest me a lot more than is perhaps healthy! I have to admit that I have spent all afternoon looking through the things that they have for sale and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I have added quite a few things to my shopping basket but have not yet bought as I am sure that I need a few other things but I cannot remember what.
I am going to have a go at doing some aircraft maintenance tomorrow and then I will be able to check if I need anything else from the on line store. I will therefore be able to save some money on postage hopefully, if I get everything that I need shipped to me in one big parcel, which will be really good. I am always looking for ways like that to save some money! I suppose people might think that someone with their own plane is extravagant, but I am used to being careful with money, which is why I have been able to save up enough to afford to buy and run a plane. And keep it going even through this recession and rising fuel prices. It is just a good habit that I have got into and I am unlikely to ever break it now, which is a good thing as it means that I should keep making sure that I get good value for money for the rest of my life.
